La Zagaleta Golf on the Costa del Sol Golf is situated on a fabulous estate which used to belong to the Saudi Arabian magnate Adnan Kashogui, and is situated at the start of the road which links Marbella and Ronda.
It is now a most private and secluded retreat for some of the wealthiest individuals in Europe who enjoy the seclusion provided within this mountainous setting overlooking the Mediterranean. With villa plots starting at €1.5m the club offers a very private sanctuary for its members.
La Zagaleta Golf Course complex is one of the most comprehensive in terms of the activities and facilities on the Costa del Sol, Spain.
The golf course is very recent addition to the Costa del Sol Golf and was opened in 1995 and has a par of 72.
La Zagaleta Golf could not be in a better location, as its fairways are surrounded by a nature reserve with numerous species of animal and plants.
The golf club is strictly private and can only be used by members and their guests.
Apart from golf and other sports facilities, La Zagaleta Golf boasts a hunting reserve, a horse-riding centre and a magnificent clubhouse, which was previously the Kashogui residence.
The golf course, designed by the North American Bradford Bens, and offers players who are lucky enough to play there wonderful views of the natural landscape.
