Can I target (plink really) shoot in a state park and national park?

I live near Pocahontas State Park and would like to shoot my 10/22. I know you can hunt, but no seasons are in and all the deer know where hunting is prohibited, so no one hunts there. Am I allowed to set up cans and plink?

Sorry but that is a big no according to the website.

“FIREARMS – Firearms are permitted only for concealed handgun
permit holders. Hunters may have firearms
during hunting season, and guns must be unloaded and
properly stored when outside of designated hunting
areas. Target shooting is prohibited. Air guns are
prohibited in all parks.”- Pocahontas
