Have you taken the children out to hunt eggs yet?

How many did they get?

We got Emily 12 eggs and I put in very small, individually wrapped gummy candies for her so I can give them to her in moderation later (she doesn’t get much candy). She won’t get to do her hunt until the weather is better though. It’s been pouring rain for over a week and it’s still coming down. My yard looks like a small lake right now. Emily is only 20 months though so not doing it today isn’t a big deal. She doesn’t even know what easter egg hunts are, much less the day they’re normally done. It’ll be more fun for her if we wait until the ground outside is dry and the sun is out (it’s FREEZING right now). She did get a stuffed easter toy though.
